Why the latest White House crisis is a really big deal

Donald Trump has been going through the latest crisis over his reported disclosure of highly classified information to Russia giving voice to a question whispered privately in washington during weeks of political turmoil. Former CIA Director Michael Hayden states that it isnt about the power the president has but more about the person and preformance he wants to repersent. the house is so potentially damaging because it stretches far beyond the simple personal stading and reputation of the president.
I agree that he does have to think about what he wants the people to see. he does have the power to do alot but he has to decide what to do and what not to do. this is where i think the actually difficulty of the job justifies.

This big retailer isn't getting Amazon-ed

Builders are no longer buying their supplies from Amazon or Walmart. They are all going to Home Depot. Home Depot reported their earnings and revenues that topped Wall Street's forecasts Tuesday. They raised their profit outlook for the year and reported sales increase of 5.5% overall. Their stock rose 2% in early trading to a new all-time high. The stock is now up nearly 20% this year.
Good for them. Honestly Home Depot is the best place to buy building supplies and its understandable how it is the newest place to buy the things. I am just suprised that this didnt happen faster.

Jimmy Kimmel to host 90th Academy Awards

Jokingly taking the blame for the biggest snafu in the history of the Oscars hasn't hurt Jimmy Kimmel one bit. the academy says announced on Tuesday that he will be returning along with producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd. The late-night host presided over the ceremony in February that ended with "La La Land" mistakenly being named best picture instead of the actual winning film.
If he is good and they want to higher him again then i guess they can. Hopefully he doesn't mess up again. they are putting the show on their presenters and we will see how well is comes out.

Congress reverse rule on state retirement plans

Congress repealed an Obama-era rule Wednesday that had paved the way for states to create their own retirement saving plans for private sector workers. The rollback is expected to have a chilling effect of the plans already underway in seven states. Many have already adopted the legislation to create new savings programs, while lawmakers in at least a dozen other states are considering similar plans.
It seems like everyone is thinking similar things and wanting to have the same plan.so i dont understand why they just all adopt the legislation. i believe it would be easier for everyone to have the same law.

Trump's claims about china's currency are getting more bizarre

A month ago Trump was calling China "World champions of currency devaluation" , now he is saying something different. He says that since he went into office china has not manipulated their money and believes it is out of respect of him and his campaign.which many say is a deeply flawed opinion.
Why would china do anything for him. where does he get these kind of ideas. I guess if it keeps him out of trouble then its fine.

Trump relies on magic wand of growth to pay for tax cuts

With time running out on his first 100 days in office and no success yet on the Obamacare repeal he promised, President Trump seems eager to turn attention to one of his favorite topics. Tax cuts. this weekend on twitter he promised "Big tax reform and tax reduction will be announced next Wednesday. dynamic scoring assumes tax cuts generate growth.
I have no comment or opinion on this. He can't leave anything alone and its just going to be another think everyone argues about. I hope he can make the right choice.

China is squeezing North Korea - but not to hard

President Trump wants China to pressure North Korea over its nuclear weapons program. China has a huge influence over the North Korean economy. They account for more than 80% of its foreign trade and serves as the main gateway to the outside worlds.Trump tweeted on Friday "China is very much the economic lifeline to North Korea so, while nothing is easy, if they want to solve the North Korean problem, they will,".
I think with this problem now that Trump is right. If china does want to stop this they will. They have a bigger upper hand then they think, but at what cost. North Korea is known for their short temper so we will have to see how long until their next tantrum.
