Why the latest White House crisis is a really big deal

Donald Trump has been going through the latest crisis over his reported disclosure of highly classified information to Russia giving voice to a question whispered privately in washington during weeks of political turmoil. Former CIA Director Michael Hayden states that it isnt about the power the president has but more about the person and preformance he wants to repersent. the house is so potentially damaging because it stretches far beyond the simple personal stading and reputation of the president.
I agree that he does have to think about what he wants the people to see. he does have the power to do alot but he has to decide what to do and what not to do. this is where i think the actually difficulty of the job justifies.

This big retailer isn't getting Amazon-ed

Builders are no longer buying their supplies from Amazon or Walmart. They are all going to Home Depot. Home Depot reported their earnings and revenues that topped Wall Street's forecasts Tuesday. They raised their profit outlook for the year and reported sales increase of 5.5% overall. Their stock rose 2% in early trading to a new all-time high. The stock is now up nearly 20% this year.
Good for them. Honestly Home Depot is the best place to buy building supplies and its understandable how it is the newest place to buy the things. I am just suprised that this didnt happen faster.

Jimmy Kimmel to host 90th Academy Awards

Jokingly taking the blame for the biggest snafu in the history of the Oscars hasn't hurt Jimmy Kimmel one bit. the academy says announced on Tuesday that he will be returning along with producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd. The late-night host presided over the ceremony in February that ended with "La La Land" mistakenly being named best picture instead of the actual winning film.
If he is good and they want to higher him again then i guess they can. Hopefully he doesn't mess up again. they are putting the show on their presenters and we will see how well is comes out.

Congress reverse rule on state retirement plans

Congress repealed an Obama-era rule Wednesday that had paved the way for states to create their own retirement saving plans for private sector workers. The rollback is expected to have a chilling effect of the plans already underway in seven states. Many have already adopted the legislation to create new savings programs, while lawmakers in at least a dozen other states are considering similar plans.
It seems like everyone is thinking similar things and wanting to have the same plan.so i dont understand why they just all adopt the legislation. i believe it would be easier for everyone to have the same law.

Trump's claims about china's currency are getting more bizarre

A month ago Trump was calling China "World champions of currency devaluation" , now he is saying something different. He says that since he went into office china has not manipulated their money and believes it is out of respect of him and his campaign.which many say is a deeply flawed opinion.
Why would china do anything for him. where does he get these kind of ideas. I guess if it keeps him out of trouble then its fine.

Trump relies on magic wand of growth to pay for tax cuts

With time running out on his first 100 days in office and no success yet on the Obamacare repeal he promised, President Trump seems eager to turn attention to one of his favorite topics. Tax cuts. this weekend on twitter he promised "Big tax reform and tax reduction will be announced next Wednesday. dynamic scoring assumes tax cuts generate growth.
I have no comment or opinion on this. He can't leave anything alone and its just going to be another think everyone argues about. I hope he can make the right choice.

China is squeezing North Korea - but not to hard

President Trump wants China to pressure North Korea over its nuclear weapons program. China has a huge influence over the North Korean economy. They account for more than 80% of its foreign trade and serves as the main gateway to the outside worlds.Trump tweeted on Friday "China is very much the economic lifeline to North Korea so, while nothing is easy, if they want to solve the North Korean problem, they will,".
I think with this problem now that Trump is right. If china does want to stop this they will. They have a bigger upper hand then they think, but at what cost. North Korea is known for their short temper so we will have to see how long until their next tantrum.

The struggle starting for Europeans to visit America

It might soon be harder for Europeans to visit the United States. On Tuesday, Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly said that rules allowing Europeans to travel to the U.S. without a visa should be reviewed over the concerns of potential terrorism. He stated that is necessary because ISIS fighters may try to exploit the U.S. visa waiver program.
I get it, people are afraid of the terrorist. They want to keep them as far away as possible, but that doesn't mean to punish all of Europe. These are normal people who just want to visit and have a nice time. Not everyone is a terrorist.

Trumps new problem: Americans arn' t shopping

President Trumps keeps pushing "buy American". He is planning to tout it again at a stop in Wisconsin on Tuesday. Not a lot of people are buying anything and he fears it could potentially hurt the economy.
I understand why he would think that, but i dont think he needs to interfear. People are going to buy when they want to buy. They just need to find something that people think is worth going on a spree for.

The End

In The Street Lawyer Micheal fights for the legal rights of the homeless people. He cares for them and starts to build relationships and understanding with some of them. The same way these people are in the cities. They want to help them. They understand these people on the street are still human and are able to get back on their feet. When they are able to help them they are able to feel joy and compassion. In a way helping the homeless is more human then what other people are doing day to day. Most people just walk to work and sit on their computer. Then they walk home eat and go to bed. repeat. They don't even pay attention to the men, women, and children starving on the side of the road. They are blank minded and robot like. Just stuck in their retinue. Still someone turns their head and uses the free will most people forget about and they notice these people. They feel for them and a spark lights inside of them that makes them want to help. They are drawn to shelters, soup kitchens, and for some to the streets just to help. Helping them for some is a way for giving back and for others a way to help a poor soul get their life back. How they feel at the end is life changing. Once they see what they go through it makes them want to help more. They get a front row seat to the horror movie that these people live. Then they see what people do about it. Like Micheal they get mad and torn and want people to stop everything they are doing to help. They fight and try to get people to help but no luck. Micheal tried helping this one lady named ruby who was trying to fight her drug addiction to get her son back. At first she wasn't doing so well and would kip her meetings at AA/NA but then she started wanting a change. She went to the meetings and over the weekends they would put her in a drug free zone in a hotel with lots of candy. She was so happy when the first night she didn't do any drugs. she came out and yelled I'm clean! then they kept putting her in there because is seemed to be working. Some would consider that a success. I don't. One or two nights isn't anythings. she can still go out there and do it again. It's when she is near it or just sitting alone by herself and doesn't crave it anymore. It's where she can go months almost years without craving it that he then call himself a success. Calling himself a success after a couple days is like washing the clothes you need to day ,but not the entire pile. He needs to finish what he started. I do predict though that he will. He will get her clean and get her a job. He will help her find an apartment and get her life back together. Then once she is stable he will get her kid back, but that wont be the last she hears from him. He will still be in her life and will walk acrossed the hall way to her apartment , that he got her in his complex to keep her close, and they will have their everyday donuts coffee and news. Only this time she is reading to him.

Algae as Jet Fuel

A Japanese firm finds many uses for Algae. one of those uses being jet fuel. The company is aiming to produce 33,000 gallons of algae jet fuel a year. they also are preparing to partner up with Japanese airline ANA. Oil that is chemically similar to kerosene can be extracted from the dried algaes powder. The algae at the moment will still need to be mixed with the original fuel and will only make a certain number of flights.
I think that this is really cool. being able to use such a natural substance that will most likely never run out is such a brilliant idea. Maybe after more research they can find a way to cut the original fuel all together. Even though they are only using half of the algaes fuel they still are cutting cost down a lot. Algae is providing us with a hopeful future and a newer fuel.

Street Lawyer blog 3

In the street lawyer Micheal is getting himself in some big trouble. He stole a file from his old office firm Drake and Sweeney, with intent to return it, and then goes through a series of events trying to keep it. Drake and Sweeney then takes big measures just to get it back. One of which is to harass Micheal and his friends. They send police to search his ex wives house, unknowing that he moved out, and stay there until he has to threaten to sue them. They sent his friends after him with wires, trying to get Micheal to admit he has the file. Then they send police to his new firm and have them search that place for the file. After all of this they then finally arrest him and stick him in a jail cell. Where Micheal gets mugged by his new cell mates. Now Micheal can not walk down the street without anyone whispering "Look! There is the lawyer that got thrown into jail". Finally they take him to court where they say he has two weeks to give back the file or they will take him all the way and most likely make him loose his law license and give him ten years in prison. During all of this he is meeting with a Homeless woman named Ruby. She goes to him trying to get her son back ,who refuses to see her until she is clean from drugs. Ruby comes in everyday and Micheal gets into a routine with her. First they walk in and she heads to their table. Then he hands her a coffee and a donut and they read the news together. Everyday Micheal ask if she got high and she would look down in shame and reply yes. While Micheal is trying to find her help he found out that she is not the only one. He learns that homeless people often turn to drugs in their time of need ,because it turns off their emotions and takes them away from their reality. He stays hopeful for Ruby though and tries everything he can to try and make her clean from drugs and get her off the streets.

Ikea India gives employees 6 months of paid Parental leave.

Ikea is bringing Swedish-style working conditions to India, the furniture giant has announced that all its employees in India, women and men, will be entitled to 26 weeks of paid parental leave. This policy will also apply to employees who have children through surrogacy or adoption.mothers will also be able to work half days for 16 weeks after there return.Although workers in Ikea's home country of Sweden still have it better than other companies. The companies there are required to offer up to 16 MONTHS of paid parental leave, of which three months are reserved for fathers.
I think this is great because now the parents no longer have to be less productive because they are tired and have a child. Also Ikea has less parents leaving the company because of children. It is great that they are becoming more family friendly and adjusting to their workers life styles.

Mid life crisist or Nah

Recently Michael and Claire finalized there divorce. At the end of Chapter six is was done and over with. they split everything they had between each other and went on their way. Michael then states on his way to his new home that they both lost in this situation. I disagree ,because they both can get a lot of good out of this. One of the main things that they can get out of this is Physiological help. They will no longer have to keep there guard up on hopes of winning the ice cold war. Michael now can possibly feel loved and cared about when something happens. unlike when he almost got killed by Mister in the beginning of the book. Claire might find someone who doesn't neglect her for work. Unlike Michael she might find someone who cares about her more than making partner. They won't only benefit physiologically, but also career wise. This gives Michael the chance to find himself and fix the emotional damage that happened to him in the office with Mister. Claire can continue to rise to the top until she finds out what she really wants. In the recent chapters Michaels actions become and little dramatic and illegal. He starts stealing files from his old firm and lying and treating to sue the police. I do not believe that these actions are justified at all. I understand that finding what actually happened in this case may help Michael find closer ,but he does not need to go to the point of stealing and sneaking around the law. Which is kind of ironic considering he is fighting for the law. I believe that Michael could have gotten his closers without be coming a criminal to get there. Since Michael is not being careful with his moves he will get caught. leaving finger prints everywhere and not thinking about what he is telling people is not helping. He is almost just yelling to the world that he committed the crime and it will come and bite him in the butt.

The Street Lawyer~everything going wrong for Micheal Brock

I am reading the book "The Street Lawyer". It is so far full of suspense, drama, and change in heart. One of the first things that happened is that Micheal ,the main character, was held hostage by a homeless man that went by the name Mister. After a while Micheal was convinced that Mister was not going to kill anyone. I believe he thought this because Mister was always falling asleep and only asked questions. He would ask his questions with no real point to ending then. It was almost as if  Mister was looking for a better understanding of something. Mister was fully prepared to die, kind of like he predicted his demise ahead of time. After Micheal's big event with Mister, he was changed emotionally. We find that he does not have a great relationship with is wife Claire because he mentions it a lot and we witness it in little things. When Micheal was finally rescued from Mister all of the other hostages where greeted by loved ones. Except Micheal, his wife was to busy at the hospital to come down and see if he was okay. Later, after Claire's shift was over we see the tension between them in their own home. They even have gotten to the point of leaving without any exchange of love or friendliness. Micheal asked Claire to just pick up everything and leave to vacation as almost a plea to rekindle their relationship. Unfortunately Claire coldly denies him and says she needs to work. Micheal then goes to see his parents, where she also denies to go to, and he again states that his relationship is working towards divorce. When he gets back no one is there to great him and Claire is gone. She somehow ''randomly'' decided to see her parents right as he was coming home. Micheal then decides to leave the firm which i believe might be for one of two reasons. One, This may be the last plea to Claire to try and fix their relationship. He might be trying to show her he has changed and that he wants to fix the issues and emotional strain they put on each other when all they do is work. Almost as if he is trying to put her before his career. Two, their failing marriage may be showing him he wants more. He was just through and emotional disaster, he wants someone to hold him and tell him everything is okay and get him back on his feet again, but without Claire to do that he is being pushed in a firm that was the first downfall on the marriage. Maybe he doesn't want to be in a place that is causing him so much stress and pain. Not only at work ,but also at home.
